Application

Cerium fluoride powder CeF3, is the important raw material for polishing powder, special glass, metallurgical applications. It is the most efficient glass polishing agent for precision optical polishing. 

Cerium fluoride can be used in optical coating, fiber doping, laser crystals, single crystal raw materials, laser amplifiers and so on.

Cerium fluoride can also be used as an environmentally friendly material, for example, the addition of cerium fluoride in automobile exhaust gas purification catalyst can improve the performance of the catalyst and reduce the content of precious metals.
