1.Optical materials: Lanthanum cerium fluoride has a high refractive index and low scattering rate, and is widely used in the preparation of optical materials for optical coatings, lasers, fiber optic communications and other fields. In optical coating, it can be used as the material of transmittance enhancement film to improve the transmittance and reflectance of optical components; in laser, it can improve the output power and efficiency of laser; in optical fiber communication, it can be used as the gain medium of optical fiber.
2.Ceramic materials: due to its high melting point and good thermal stability, it can be used as an additive for ceramic materials.
3.Metallurgy and chemical industry: Lanthanum cerium fluoride is also often used in metallurgy and chemical industry, special alloys, as well as the corresponding metal production auxiliaries, and additives and other fields.
