Application
Gadolinium oxide nanoparticles are characterized by high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity and low bulk density. It can be insoluble in water, soluble in acid to form corresponding salt. When exposed to air, it is easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air and deteriorate.
The following are applications of gadolinium oxide：
1. Power industry;
2. As raw material for nuclear reactor control material and gadolinium metal;
3. Used as yttrium aluminum and yttrium iron garnet dopant, sensitized fluorescent material in medical equipment, magnetic bubble material and optical prism additive.
