Application

Thulium fluoride is used in the following applications:

1. Optical applications: thulium fluoride has high thermal conductivity, high refractive index, low dispersion and other characteristics, so it can be used to manufacture optical lenses, prisms, windows and other optical components. In addition, thulium fluoride is also commonly used to manufacture components for optical devices such as lasers and solar cells.

2. Electronics applications: Thulium fluoride can be used to manufacture heat sinks and circuit boards for electronic components due to its high thermal conductivity and low electrical conductivity. In addition, thulium fluoride can be used to manufacture superconducting materials and electrodes for electronic devices.
