Applications
Applications of ytterbium oxide include:
1. Manufacture of high melting point alloys, such as tungsten-molybdenum alloy, tungsten-niobium alloy, tungsten-aluminum alloy, etc.. These alloys can be used to manufacture tools and parts such as pliers, hammers, drills, etc.
