Yttrium Oxide Thermal Spray Powder Application
Yttrium oxide is widely used in thermal spray coatings. It is an efficient plasma-erosion protection material for graphite layers in the cemented carbide industry. In the aerospace field, yttrium oxide can be used in the surface coating of aircraft engine blades, turbines and other components to improve their high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. In the automotive industry, yttrium oxide can be used in the surface coating of automotive engine blocks, pistons, valves and other components to improve their wear and corrosion resistance.
Yttrium oxide from nanocrystal has good stability and heat resistance. The powder surface is smooth and regular in shape. The powder can be customized to the right particle size, such as micron or nanometer, depending on the application.
